University of Missouri Task Force on Reporting Strategies Recommendations May 8, 2003 Introductions Thank you Short presentation of the processes and findings followed by a discussion of each recommendation

University of Missouri Task Force on Reporting Strategies Charge Process Findings Best Practices Charge Look at how we can enhance reporting, long-term and short-term Process Over 30 Focus Group sessions involving over 350 faculty, staff, administrators, and students Findings Collectively from Task Force members and Focus Group sessions: What is working well, what is not working well, and where are there opportunities for improvement Not necessarily a focus on new administrative software Conclusion – we have both the need and opportunity to improvement information access Best Practices Internally, there are things we wanted to continue and reinforce Externally, Best Practices indicate a greater emphasis on reporting and meeting the needs of a wide range of user needs and skills
