Our journey Was made by the teacher Zykunova V.A. School №1, Svetly, Kaliningradskaya region

On May 19, 2013, students of our school (7”b”, 8”b”) together with teachers visited ecological and historical museum in the village of Krasnolesye Nesterovsky district

We were offered a tour of the project "Vishtynetsky treasures of Dwarfs." To find the road to the treasures we overcame a way along the streets of the village and its surroundings, solved riddles, watched how the stone was skillfully used in the old days.

In order not to lose your way everyone received a special guide - a kind of workbook. In a way we were waiting for unexpected discoveries. We saw large boulders.

And in the old quarry everyone found the stone, which helped in the gnomes’ underground workshop to learn a lot of interesting about the origin of the stones of Vishtynetsky Upland. In the workshop we were lucky to see the stone under a microscope.

The thinnest stone plates opened to us the present internal structure of stones. It is one of the most beautiful sights in nature. Each of us took the processed stone as a souvenir and got a passport “The keeper of stone”.

After the tour we were treated to a delicious cake with tea After the tour we were treated to a delicious cake with tea. Journey into the past will be remembered for a long time. We returned home tired but very happy.
