Newsletter December 2016 Welcome to our last Newsletter for 2016 We are hoping that you are enjoying getting our newsletter and that it is keeping you very well informed! We will keep you informed as to the starting date for 2017 for Susie’s Community Play programs. We have been successful with our Get Playing Places & Spaces Grant and will be going ahead with resurfacing the courts early in 2017. We have also been successful in having a professional player represent our club in the Australian Open 2017. We will be keeping a close eye on Annika Beck from Germany who will be playing for our club. The slatted wall to shade the table has now been installed and looks fantastic. Thank you to Jason, Dean, Peter, Vicki, Kerry, Kate & her two boys. Great job! Don’t forget to check out our Facebook page for any updates, news or events. Our new Secretary is Rick Hynec, thank you Rick for stepping up to do the job. Fast4 Program 6pm -8pm for adults and is continuing over the school holidays. Our current membership is still sitting at 69 members. We are still encouraging all members to join Tennis and then join their club via the Tennis Qld website so that we are eligible to receive our $5 reward per member. If you have joined already, you should have been receiving some emails from the club. Cheers till next time!
