Overview This is the latest in a series of periodic Housekeeping Reports over the past several years The last Housekeeping exercise took place in 2012 The Planning Division staff has been collecting comments and suggestions from various City staff who documented particular concerns to the Planning Division, reviewed the various issues, and discussed any changes that may be required Through discussions and review, it is a general consensus that the modifications further strengthen and refine the Comprehensive Zoning By-law
Housekeeping Items 1 01-2-8 01-2-8a Section/Heading or Zone Issues (Identified by Department) Suggested Modification(s) 1 01-2-8 01-2-8a GENERAL-RECONSTRUCTION BUILDINGS/PORCHES page 4 Currently this section concerns the Reconstruction of Buildings and Reconstruction of Porches and Entrance Decks in the Front Yard. It provides for the ability to build again after destruction due to fire for example, or demolition , however it does not specify a time frame. Introduce a time period of one year – commencing from the time of issuance of the demolition permit when applicable.

Introduce the words Restaurants , Bars and Taverns .
Housekeeping Items 3 Section 02-3-3 Residential 20 Section/Heading or Zone Issues (Identified by Department Suggested Modification(s) 3 Section 02-3-3 Residential 20 BUILDING AND LOT REQUIREMENTS FOR MAIN BUILDINGS Pg 6 The minimum frontage for row house linear units additional provisions are Section K – Special Provision for Row Houses – however it is not reflected in the Minimum Frontage B) of the requirements. Only the lot frontage are identified presently. Replace the present values identified as 4.8 meters and interior lots and 10 .9 meters corner lot in Row House Linear Column B(i) and (ii) , respectively ,to read 20.5 meters + requirements of Section K .

Housekeeping Items 4 Mapping Changes Section/Heading or Zone Issues (Identified by Department) Suggestion Modification(s) 4 Mapping Changes Following a rezoning last Spring, the Planning Division sent out a form letter asking residents to indicate their wish to change the zoning from Manufacturing 20 (MAN 20) to Residential 20( RES 20). Two property owners responded and as such 31- 33 William and 1 William Street will be changed to reflect a Residential 20 zoning. Change Schedule 15
