Modifying Parasolid Extrusions Within SolidWorks

Step 1: Load desired extrusion into SolidWorks

Step 2: Highlight Face to be extruded

Step 3: Select Sketch Mode and Convert Entities command within Sketch Mode

Step 4: Ensure all entities have been copied and select any additional entities to convert to sketch

Step 5: Select Feature Mode - Extrusion

Step 6: Enter desired extrusion length Note: Model is typically converted into SolidWorks at 1” so keep this in mind when entering your desired length.

Tip: Use the furthest edges of the extrusions as reference planes while creating assembly mates
