Fig. 1 Determination of human sex in male (A) and female (B) by L-RCA; AmelX and Y padlock probes were used to detect the PCR amplified amelogenin gene fragments by hAmelX (lanes 1 and 3) and hAmelY (lanes 2 and 4) primer pairs. Lane ‘u’ is the undigested, and ‘d’ is the digested L-RCA product. Determination of male, the 90 and 77 bases DNA fragments were detected in lane 1(d) and 4(d), respectively. For female, only the 90-bases DNA band was present. Lane N is the no DNA template L-RCA (control). L is 100-bp DNA marker.
