LEE COLLEGE TUITION Scholarships are available!! $125 per course per semester plus the cost of books. This is a discounted rate for Dual Enrollment courses. Modified Early College Academy MECA Enrolled in San Jacinto College courses in the morning 7am – 10:00am. Enrolled in CHS classes in the afternoon. Earn an associate’s degree and high school diploma at the same time. Classes are taken on SJC North campus. Transportation is provided to/from CHS.

MECA Requirements Incoming JUNIORS only Must successfully complete Pre-AP Algebra II by end of sophomore year (which means Alg I in MS) Requires some summer course work SJC Dual Request Form – Due Feb 1 to NLC TSI required – testing will be scheduled through CHS March 21 and 22 at SJC Application to San Jacinto College – completed at CHS February 6 – 7:30am February 13, - 7:30am MECA application Students will need to have up-to-date MENINGITIS VACCINE by June 1. Students will need to research their intended 4-yr college to make sure all courses transfer into degree plan. MECA students will typically apply to college at FIRST-TIME FRESHMEN and must meet all freshmen admission requirements, including SAT/ACT scores.

San Jacinto College Tuition Cost Texas Resident Reduced In–District Tuition 1 class = 3 semester hours: $75.00 2 classes = 6 semester hours: $112.50 4 classes = 12 semester hours: $187.50 Texas Resident Out of District Tuition 1 class = 3 semester hours: approx $108.75 2 classes = 6 semester hours: approx $180.00 4 classes = 12 semester hours: approx $322.50 Out of State and Non Resident Tuition 1 class = 3 semester hours: $157.50 2 classes = 6 semester hours: $277.50 4 classes = 12 semester hours: $517.50 Students are responsible for tuition and the cost of books.

Career & Technical Courses San Jacinto College & Lee College Students earn hours toward a career certification Industry Recognized Certifications or associate’s degree Technical Certificate Program at SJC Enrolled in CHS courses in the morning. Enrolled in San Jacinto College classes in the afternoon. Transportation provided to/from SJC. Lee College courses at CHS campus

TUITION and Other COSTS Crosby ISD covers the cost of tuition for all CTE students. Students are responsible for textbooks and class supplies. Rent or buy USED books MUST BE UP TO DATE on ALL CREDITS at CHS – Summer school if needed

Dual Credit ENROLLMENT PROCESS Steps in order to be eligible to receive high school credit for a Dual Credit course Turn in the Dual Credit request forms to the Next Level Center by February 1. BLUE – Lee College WHITE – San Jacinto College 2. Complete the college application and pass the TSI (or use exemptions – SAT, ACT, EOC scores). 3. After all requirements are met, college will enroll students in selected courses. 4. Make payment by deadline and purchase books (if necessary).
