Use DAVID (http://apps1. niaid. nih Use DAVID (http://apps1.niaid.nih.gov/david/) to convert the mouse SwissProt IDs to LocusLink. Use either DAVID 2.0 of DAVID 2.1 beta, I used 2.1 beta.

Click “Gene Accession Conversion”

In step 1, either browse for a text file containing only the IDs or copy-paste the IDs into the box on the right. In step 2, set Convert From as “Not Sure” and set Convert To as “ENTREZ_GENE_ID” Then click Convert

2 1 Click the icon under Convert All next to UNIPROT_ACCESSION Then right-click the link and select “Save target as”

Please note that it is possible for some SwissProt IDs to map to multiple LocusLink IDs.

When you upload the file to MetaCore, make sure to set the SwissPro/Trembl column to “ignore” and to set the LocusLink column to “LocusLink ID”
