“The Gospel Affords Us Our Greatest Place of Worship!” Hebrews 10:19-22

and since we have a great priest over the house of God, Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, by the new and living way that He opened for us through the curtain, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,

now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Hebrews 9:24

Practical Applications Concerning Our Understanding

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Ephesians 4:31

Practical Applications concerning Our Affections

Psalm 135:15-18

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. They have mouths, but do not speak; they have eyes, but do not see; they have ears, but do not hear, nor is there any breath in their mouths.

Those who make them become like them, so do all who trust in them.
