Circumstances in China: One of the 22 countries with a high burden of TB One of 27 priority countries for MDR-TB TB cases rank 2nd in the world

In 20 years, the incidence of TB in China has dropped by 50%, and mortality, 80%

However, One of every 10 TB patients in China is MDR-TB patient. In 2012: 130 thousand, 28%

Three major problems

Perspective A Long way to Go……

Repulse TB Prevention knowledge

THE CONTROL OF TUBERCULOSIS: TB is controlled when natural infection is age 0-14 years. Adopting the proper lifestyle and behavioural from early childhood

childhood: For TB, it will involve the following measures; Nutritional interventions Environmental modifications Appropriate health education

adults In our daily life Develop good health habits Keep a balanced diet Timely increase or decrease clothes

adults In our daily life Avoid going to crowded public place Often exercise Often open windows

Vaccination: Vaccination is one of the most important tuberculosis prevention The only currently available Vaccine is bacillus Calmette–Guérin (BCG) Vaccination target: infants children and youngster of tuberculin negative

From the patient's perspective Treatment: Finding patients earlier should be early diagnosis and treatment should go to a chest clinic either for treatment Treatment and management of patients by setting up anti-tuberculosis spots in hospitals or TB hospital.

What to do with patients: Tuberculosis is transmitted by air To avoid staying so close with patients. Patients need to not speak in a loud voice and coughing to people. do sterilization every day in your house and make it often ventilated. Do not use the same tableware as the patients. Things that have been touched by TB patients should be boiled or disinfected.
