TIME TO FORGIVE! Mark 11:22-23 22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.

TIME TO FORGIVE! Mark 11:22-23 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.

TIME TO FORGIVE! A. UNFORGIVENESS BLOCKS FORGIVNESS 14 “If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. 15 But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matt. 6:14-15

TIME TO FORGIVE! B. UNFORGIVENSS SAPS THE POWER OF PRAYER 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. 25 But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too. Mark 11:22-25

but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. TIME TO FORGIVE! 7 In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7

TIME TO FORGIVE! C. UNFORGIVNENESS BRING JUDGEMENT “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.” Matthew 7:1-2

TIME TO FORGIVE! So whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law that sets you free. There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. James 2:12-13

TIME TO FORGIVE! D. NFORGIVENESS CULTIVATES A BITTER ROOT Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. Hebrews 12:15

TIME TO FORGIVE! Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32
