Refurbished Bikes

Recycling old bikes Donations Repairs The majority of the bikes we sell are donated to us Donations are assessed and repaired or stripped for parts Repairs Anyone can pay to have their bike repaired by one of our mechanics We also run classes encouraging people to learn to fix their own bike

FYOB & Maintenance

Workshops FYOB Maintenance Classes We hold weekly ‘Fix Your Own Bike’ sessions at both shops The workshop is opened up for anyone to use the tools and facilities Maintenance Classes A qualified mechanic teaches basic mechanical skills Both classes in the Southside are free to local residents

Special Events Kids & Youth FYOB Women’s Wellness Day Special mechanics classes aimed at children and young adults Women’s Wellness Day Mechanics classes aimed at women, with the aim of encouraging more of a gender balance in the cycling community Schools & Business outreach Basic skills sessions in schools, and organised classes for businesses

Dr Bike Pop-up stalls all over the city Free bike check-overs & minor repairs Mechanics provide detailed information on further work needed Special public events and stalls scheduled throughout the year
