Introduction Records Management & Declassification Agency was established to manage the various Army records programs...Records Management, Records Research, Declassification, FOIA/PA Joint Services Records Research Center was assigned to RMDA for access to Army records JSRRC recognized by Congress, DoD, Services, VA, Veterans, Veteran Organizations

RMDA Mission & Organization Responsible for the entire spectrum of Army’s interrelated records management programs, with DA level responsibility for policies, programs & operations integrated into a single organizational structure. JSRRC MISSION The JOINT SERVICES RECORDS RESEARCH CENTER serves as the DOD Executive Agent for matters pertaining to post-traumatic stress disorder and agent orange military records research. Serve America’s Veterans and their Families by supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, veterans’ service organizations, veterans’ representatives, and congressional offices advocating for veterans disability claims.

BE ON LOOK OUT FOR CONOPS RECORDS IN RHA, WITH TENANTS, WITH RETURNING UNITS. CONTACT JSRRC/RMD LOOK FOR “COLLECTIONS” . MAY BE UNOFFICIAL UNIT RECORDS STORED AWAY BY A UNIT, HISTORIAN, LIBRARY. PARTICULAR ABSENCE OF KOSOVO, BOSNIA, HAITI, SOMALIA CONOPS RECORDS. OEF/OIF: WE AREN’T SURE WHERE THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS MEET WITH “RECORDS OFFICER” OF DEPLOYING UNITS (MOBILIZATION CENTER? TENANT COMMANDS?) PROVIDE COPY OF COMMANDER’S HANDBOOK. STRONGLY ADVISE TO CREATE, AND RETURN THESE RECORDS. MEET WITH UNITS ON RETURN.
