Leaders Each Assisting Differently Fall 2018 LEAD Roles Leaders Each Assisting Differently Fall 2018

What are LEAD Roles? There are many important tasks that need to be done to help our wonderful school run smoothly. That’s where LEAD Roles come in! Many reliable and dedicated student leaders are needed to help with these tasks in order for CSE to continue to be the best school in Lewisville! There’s enough fun and work for everyone, so apply today!

Lost and Found Crew K - 1st Grade Many jackets, sweaters, and other belongings find themselves lost and alone in the Lost and Found. Leaders are needed to organize this space and make sure that lost items find their way back to their owner.

Recess Rescuers K - 3rd Grade Recess is a fun time for everyone! But, there can be the occasional boo-boo. Recess Rescuers will be responsible for a boo-boo bag for their grade level, helping injured classmates get to Nurse Rory, and ensuring that the walkie-talkie is with the teacher during recess.

K - 5th Grade Cougar Ambassador When new students arrive on campus, we want them to feel welcome. The Cougar Ambassadors will greet new students and lead them on a tour. Ambassadors will give new students a great first impression of CSE and answer any questions they may have. If you are great at making others feel warm and welcome, this may be the role for you!

Morning Greeter K - 5th Grade Are you a perky morning person? Bring that cheer to your fellow Cougars by being a Morning Greeter from 7:15 - 7:35 am and greet students as they arrive.

Farewell Crew K - 5th Grade The Farewell Crew will work from 2:50 - 3:00 pm everyday to shake hands and give a loving farewell to all of our students as they leave school for the day.

Birthday Brigade K - 5th Grade The birthday brigade will assist Mrs. Hornyak in delivering birthday wishes to students at pep rallies. You must be willing to sing and lead the Happy Birthday song.

Morning Gym Patrol 1st - 5th Grade Students are needed in the gym each morning from 7:15 - 7:35. Gym Patrol will welcome students to the gym, help new students find their spot, and make sure everyone has had breakfast.

Miss Maria’s Assistant 1st - 5th Grade Miss Maria works so hard to make our school the best it can be! She wants your help! Miss Maria’s Assistants will assist Miss Maria with her many responsibilities at the beginning of the school day. This job will take place from 7:15 - 7:35 am. Miss Maria’s Assistants will also be leaders during lunch by helping to ensure that our cafeteria remains a safe and clean place at school.

Flag Patrol 1st - 5th Grade The Flag Patrol will raise the American and Texas flags in front of our school each morning and will lower the flags at the end of each school day. The Reveille (morning patrol) will raise the flags by 7:30 am and the Retreat (afternoon patrol) will lower the flags at 2:55 pm.

Mrs. Smolinski’s Squad 1st - 5th Grade As one of Mrs. Smolinski’s Squad, you will find Super Cougars for the announcements, update leadership bulletin boards, and other various and important tasks in the mornings from 7:15 - 7:35 am.

Student Lighthouse Team 2nd - 5th Grade Do you have great ideas for improvement and leadership at CSE? You are needed on the Student Lighthouse Team! This group will meet with Mrs. Townsend to discuss school wide goals. 2nd-5th Recycling Leader Grade Want to help save the world? Become a recycling leader! Leaders will pick up the recycling from classes at the end of the day from 2:50 - 3:00 pm.

S.W.A.T. Team 3rd-5th Grade Students Who Assist with Technology will support the technology at CSE by making sure the carts are organized correctly and all technology is ready for the day. SWAT will also assist Mrs. Brosi as needed in the library by shelving books, decorating for the season, organizing, and other tasks.

Art Environmentalists 3rd - 5th Grade The hard work created by the super Cougars of CSE is displayed on bulletin boards throughout the school. However, sometimes these bulletin boards need a little extra care and repair. The Art Environmentalists will work with Mrs. Loyd and other classroom teachers each morning from 7:15 - 7:35 to repair and design the bulletin boards.

Media Team 3rd - 5th Grade The CSE Media Team will work with Mrs. Brosi to prepare and announce important school news. The Media Team will meet from 7:15 - 7:50 every morning.

Bus Leaders 3rd - 5th Grade We are seeking students who are leaders on and off the bus, responsible, and care about the safety of others to assist in making sure everyone is present on their bus. These leaders will also help the bus driver in making sure that bus rules are being followed and habits are being used. *Applicants must be riders of the bus that they will be leading.

Safety Patrol 4th-5th Grade Morning Safety Patrol will work with Mrs. Born from 7:15 - 7:35 am to ensure that all students get out of their cars and into school safely. Afternoon Safety Patrol will assist from 2:55 - 3:05 pm to ensure all students are safe in the car line during dismissal.
