Writing Warm-up #11 Today’s warm-up will consist of either a true story taken from your own life or a well-known event that has impacted you on a personal level.

The story should convey some life lesson(s) that you gained from the experience(s) you are describing.

It should be an experience (or a set of experiences) that caused you to think differently about the world, about another person you know, or about what is most important in your life.

This can be written as a poem OR a short story.

If you are really struggling with providing details or coming up with ideas, you have permission to stretch the truth ever…..so…..slightly…..
