Cincinnati shooting

A shooting left four people dead, including the suspect, at a busy skyscraper in downtown Cincinnati. At least three men were killed and two other people were injured when a gunman opened fire at the in the city's popular Fountain Square just as the workday began on Thursday morning. When four police officers arrived, they shot the suspect through glass windows and killed him. The suspect, Omar Perez, had a pistol and more than 200 rounds of ammunition. He accessed the high-rise building through a loading dock and opened fire. Authorities are still trying to determine what may have motivated the gunman to carry out the rampage but have said he acted alone.

In Other News The EAGLES defeated the Falcons in the opening game of the NFL season. Johnny Bobbitt Jr., a homeless Philadelphia ex-Marine, will get the money owed to him from a GoFundMe campaign that raised more than $400,000 for him. Attorney Chris Fallon said, "We reached an agreement today with GoFundMe.” In a statement, the company said it would back the money raised. Bobbitt has now received $20,000 as part of the guarantee, which will be used to get him an apartment and food. The rest of the money will be handed over after GoFundMe conducts an investigation. A couple, Kate McClure and Mark D'Amico, started the campaign after McClure ran out of gas and became stranded last October, and Bobbitt helped her out with his last $20. People donated $402,706 over the course of 10 months. Since then, the money has been in dispute, and Bobbitt is suing the couple, accusing them of fraud. Bobbitt's attorney says his client has only seen about $75,000 of that money and should have gotten about $300,000 more after GoFundMe's fees. President Trump again called on The New York Times to reveal the identity of the author of that article that deeply criticized him and his administration. He also said publishing it might be an act of treason. One by one, top officials denied being the writer. Actor Burt Reynolds became one of Hollywood's biggest stars during the '70s and '80s. Reynolds -- the star of "Smokey and the Bandit," "Deliverance" and "The Longest Yard" -- died at 82 of cardiac arrest. The frontrunner in Brazil's upcoming presidential election was stabbed during a rally. Video shows shows Jair Bolsonaro being led through a crowd of supporters when a man suddenly stabs him in the chest. The suspect, who has a Facebook page full of anti-Bolsonaro posts, was arrested. Bolsonaro is recovering at a hospital after surgery and likely will be off the campaign trail for weeks.
