Figure 2 Esophageal acid exposure at baseline, after twice-daily PPI therapy, and at 3 and 12 months after fundoplication. Eight of 10 (80%) patients had abnormal esophageal acid exposure by pH monitoring at baseline that was normalized on PPI therapy and postfundoplication despite persistent symptoms.
