القراءة للجميع Reading Is For Everyone By : Raed Jweihan & the help of Ayssar abdallat

The Goal Of My Project My goal is to estabilish a Library for kids in one of the poorest areas in Jordan to encourage them to read and love Learning in a different way and to give them extra information That they dont usually learn from school books

Ghor Al-Safis Background Ghor Al Safi is located in the southern area of Jordan near Al-Karak, its an agricultural area with very hot weather in summer. Statistics showed that Al-Safi is the poorest in Jordan.and people there Are in need for any kind of help anyone can provide Thats why i decided to apply my project in this area

How I conducted the project First of all i started my project by asking my friends if they have any books in a good condition that they would like to give away and also by creating an event on Facebook And invited everyone asking for books and after i collected the books needed, then i started thinking of a way to collect money in order to proceed my project so i came up with the idea of selling twisted fries in Kidz Zara Expo 2013 where i worked for 3 days from 9:00 am till 9:00pm everyday with the help of my friend ayssar abdallat finally after collectiing the money i bought all the necessary objects for the library like tables,chairs,shelves,etc….. And then I searched for a place in Ghor Al Safi to implement my project in. So after all the searching the best place i found was الصندوق الاردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية غور الصافي ) ( In which I was given a room in which I had to repaint and clean in order to start with the library. At last I sorted the books and put them in the shelves and then opened the library with the manager.

Importance of the project This project made almost everyone happy in Ghor including parents and kids in which having a library in such place makes volunteers want to make a difference in this place and also kids enjoyed and got excited for the library because its one of a kind it includes (stories, toys, and an LCD to play DVD(educative films) so it has a very high importance because its something new in town for them

The Event On Facebook

In conclusion I promised to keep in touch with them and upgrade this library step by step by time(adding more LCDS,Condition for hot weather and soo on) And ThankYou
