OBJECTIVES Explain Class Dues Outline Class Events Discuss Freshman year goals

DUES EXPLAINED Class dues help cover costs associated with Class Events and include but are not limited to the following purposes: Pay initial and final deposits for venues that house class events (Proms and dances) Event security and entertainment Favors/memorabilia for events Food and beverages for events Transportation & lodging for trips Class Paraphernalia

DUES EXPLAINED Based on number of people that pay REALITY Events Costs ÷ Number of students $5,745 ÷383 STUDENTS = $15/STUDENT REALITY Some students don’t pay Increases dues following year Must be paid to participate in events To participate in sophomore events, must have Freshman and Sophomore dues paid (and meet other criteria such as service learning hours, latenesses, etc.

$30 - $10 = $20 DUES EXPLAINED DUES - FUNDRAISING = BALANCE May cover events a year in advance FRESHMAN YEAR = End of Year Cookout + Initial Costs for Sophomore Ball FOOD DECORATIONS DEPOSITS SECURITY ENTERTAINMENT TICKETS Fundraising offsets dues DUES - FUNDRAISING = BALANCE $30 - $10 = $20
