Student Learning Profile SLP Student Education

What do the levels represent? Meeting Standards You have mastered the expectations of your grade level (in each content area). You understand what you need to know and have the skills to be successful for future learning. This is where you should be and are doing very well.

Approaching Standards You are beginning to understand what we are learning and you need more support from the teacher to be successful. You are on the right track but need some more practice. You are beginning to get it.

Area of Concern You require a lot of support and still have trouble understanding the class work. The class work is very difficult for you. You need additional help in order to understand what we are learning. *Be sure you ask questions and ask your teacher for extra help.

Meeting with Excellence You have the understanding and the skills expected at your grade level in a content area. You can work independently and your understanding goes well beyond what is expected: “wow factor”. This is challenging for most students and takes a lot of work and effort.

Learning Habits Progress Key Social and Emotional Development Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful I can follow directions. I can work independently and stay on task. I can organize myself, my materials, and my belongings. I can complete and submit work in a timely manner. I can participate successfully in group activities. I can listen attentively. I can respect adults, peers, and school property. I can share my thoughts and ideas appropriately. I can seek help when needed. I can challenge myself to attempt new tasks. The last statement refers to a student who perseveres in the task they have been presented with.
