Aim To explore the range of factors, volunteers need to flourish in their volunteering placements

Objectives To identify what skills volunteers need to volunteer To identify what environment a volunteer needs to be in to flourish To explore ways to support volunteers who have extra needs To champion and celebrate good practice 

Volunteer (noun) A person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertake a task. A person who works for an organization without being paid. (Oxford dictionary – online)
