Abstract One short paragraph consist of: 1. Aims Example: To determine the concentration of chloride in a wastewater sample. Dont forget the samples types. 2. Methods Explain in short the method or methods you used to get the results. 3. Results Write down your results

Example on the Abstract Experiment : Determination of Nitrate(NO 3 ) using Ultraviolet Spectrophotometric Screening Method Abstract: This experiment is aimed to determine the nitrate for tap water from Islamic University of Gaza and industrial water from Mater manufactory, by using Ultraviolet Spectrophotometric Screening Method. The results showed that the nitrate concentration in tap water was 40 mg/l, and in the industrial water was 200 mg/l.

Introduction A few paragraphs. Includes: 1. Background 2. Theories, equations, and rules used in calculations 3. Brief about the work (hypotheses) and expectations Remember to quote your sources (you should include a bibliography of your references after the conclusions section).

Method METHOD SECTION COINSIT OF : 1.Method Name 2.Working principle of the method. 3.Procedure (Concise but sufficient for someone to repeat the work). 4.List materials or equipments used. 5.Describe special pieces of equipment as PH meter. 6. List Reagents used. Avoid starting a sentence with a number as: 0.05 mg of barium chloride was mixed with 100 cm 3 water The correct sentence is : A solution of barium chloride (0.05 mg in 100 cm 3) was prepared in water and titrated against silver nitrate.

Results and Calculations 1.Tabulate the numerical data when possible 2.Make sure that you divide tables by measurements units such that you write only number inside the table Title all figures and tables; include a legend explaining symbols, abbreviations, or special methods 3.Number figures and tables separately and refer to them in the text by their number, i.e. Figure 1 shows that the activity....

Discussion Compare the results with standards.

Conclusion The conclusion should echo the Abstract and be as short as possible.

References All references should be listed
