Agenda – 12/11 In-class essay prep TOMORROW: IN-CLASS ESSAY FOR A MAJOR GRADE THURSDAY: QUIZ, MAP TEST; NOTES DUE, MAP DUE Did you read the instructions? You need to annotate five of the places.

First off: Study chat. How do we study? How should we study?

“turning point” essays “To what extent is getting your driver’s license a turning point in your life?”

“turning point” essays You’re making an argument It WAS, KIND OF WAS, or WASN’T a turning point It’s up to you – but you need to prove your answer By using evidence! And explaining that evidence! And explaining how that evidence DOES or DOES NOT make it a turning point!
