Learning through Mnemonics By Kamla

Objectives Use mnemonics to enhance student learning develop interest towards the subject make learning of facts easier and faster.

Procedure Method 1: They were told to write down the names in the same order as it was given in the sheets. They were asked to learn it for 15 minutes after which the sheets were collected back. Children were given photos of prime ministers of India in chronological order.

Procedure Method 2: Students were told to rewrite the names of prime ministers in a chronological manner. Students were told to underline the first letter of every word. These words were considered as key words. Some key sentences were provided on the board. Sheets were redistributed.
