IROWG Charter International coordination of efforts is needed to maximise coverage, avoid gaps in the observation system, and ensure a sufficient data flow. Foster the development of standard software for operational and scientific use, maintain standard datasets for processing harmonisation and validation, promote best practices for the effective use of this data and organise ongoing re-processing of RO data for climate use.
2nd IROWG Workshop To be held jointly with UCAR GNSSRO Data Users Workshop March 28th – April 1st – Stanley Hotel, Estes Park, CO Expect approximately 100-150 attendees Agenda patterned after other CGMS Workshops Talks, posters, subgroup sessions Conference bridges weekend – time for offline discussions with collegues Subgroup recommendations elevated to CGMS

Sub-Group Work Should discuss relevant activities in their field Can formulate recommendations or actions Focus is on 12 – 36 months Recommendations: can be relevant to CGMS (and will be reported there) can be relevant to RO in general Actions: are within the sub-group / IROWG itself
