Wicked Times Poor Decisions Amazing Faith Amazing Faith The book of Ruth presents to us an endearing love story, actually three love stories A daughter-in-law’s sacrificial love for her Mother-in-Law, One man’s love for a poor young widow, One woman’s love for God The fabric upon which this story is woven is the faith of Ruth whose faith shines through her submissive service This book’s powerful message speaks to us today in light of the pressure to abandon scriptural roles, and the shadows of the past which have belittled a woman’s role in the home and in the Church. Ruth’s message shines as great encouragement to all showing that great faith can shine from any role we find ourselves fitted for.
