Click the logo for more info MILITARY SERVICE The ASVAB Click the logo for more info ASVAB test scores are used to determine if you are qualified to join the military service. Each service determines the qualification score for enlisting in their service. In addition, your scores will determine your career field or military occupation eligibility. Since enlistment bonuses are usually tied to your choice of occupations, the better the score, the more opportunities you have. The ASVAB test is on Dec. 13th at South HS. Sign up by Dec. 6th by clicking on this link: ASVAB Sign Up https://goo.gl/forms/RyzI3W2NAyaytGIH3

MILITARY SERVICE Becoming a military officer requires additional training and school. Clicking the links below will help identify colleges that have Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs in Wisconsin. These programs can make college very affordable as well.

2 YEAR TECHNICAL COLLEGE Although LTC is certainly not the only great technical college in Wisconsin, it is the one that is most frequently attended by South HS graduates. How Kaitlyn can help high school students I am here to help you through the first steps of your college journey. I can get you connected with instructors and involved in special events and opportunities to help you make an informed decision about college that you can be confident and excited about! Kaitlyn Bresser LTC Career Coach 920-693-1757 kaitlyn.bresser@gotoltc.edu

2 YEAR TECHNICAL COLLEGE The program I am most interested in studying at this time is: [fill in this space with the program you are thinking about studying] To see the list of over 70 programs offered at LTC, click the logo to the left.

2 YEAR TECHNICAL COLLEGE Dual credit opportunities to consider before graduation Start College Now allows qualified high school juniors and seniors and seniors to take college classes at LTC (in-person, blended, or online). District school boards determine approval of coursework. Students that successfully complete coursework will receive both high school and college credit. LTC Career Certificates give high school seniors a jump on college and a future career. These carefully designed pathways are in high demand occupations. Students will earn high school and college credit as well as an employer-recognized certificate.

2 YEAR TECHNICAL COLLEGE Does the ACT Impact my Entrance to LTC? LTC does not require an entrance exam. However, they do want you to be successful in your classes, so you will need to take an academic placement assessment to determine the classes to start with at LTC. ACCUPLACER is the placement assessment that LTC administers. ACT scores are also accepted. Click to practice!

4 YEAR UNIVERSITY Here are some other resources to consider when it comes to the cost of college. South HS Counseling Center Financial Aid and Scholarship

Dual credit opportunities to consider before graduation 4 YEAR UNIVERSITY Dual credit opportunities to consider before graduation Early College Credit Program allows high school students at public high schools in Wisconsin to earn college credit through the ECCP. A student selected for the program may be permitted to enroll in a UW System institution, or an alternative private, non-profit institution of higher education (IHE) to take one or more courses for which the student may earn high school credit, post-secondary credit, or both. Under ECCP, the costs of the courses are shared among the IHE, the school district or private school, the state, and in some cases the student’s family. LTC Career Certificates give high school seniors a jump on college and a future career. These carefully designed pathways are in high demand occupations. Students will earn high school and college credit as well as an employer-recognized certificate.
