10th Grade English Friday 15 Nov. 2013 Agenda: Chapters 1-4 Comprehension and Vocab Test Ch 5 Vocabulary Begin Reading Ch 5 (20 pages!) H/W: Next Survivor Challenge: Pig Trap Due Wednesday, 11/20 for 1st and 3rd, and Thursday, 11/21 for 2nd period.

Ch 5 Vocab Lamentation: a passionate expression of sorrow or grief His lamentation was heard throughout the funeral parlor. POS: noun

Ch 5 Vocab Intimidation: the act of pressuring a person to make them do something; bullying Jack’s intimidation scared the littl’uns into hunting for him. POS: noun
