Bell Ringer Close reading activity: After reading the article on the landmark Supreme Court case “Plessy v. Ferguson” answer the following question: What was the obvious impact of the Supreme Courts ruling?

Bell Ringer Close reading activity: What was the obvious impact of the Supreme Courts ruling? Plessy is widely regarded as one of the worst decisions in U.S. Supreme Court history. The courts "separate but equal" ruling legitimized the many state laws re- establishing the racial segregation doctrine.
