Accessing Smarter Balanced Teacher Score Rosters 2015-16 Preliminary Results Results should be available 3 weeks after the student completes both the CAT and PT As a real-time system, results will change as additional data is received and processed These changes may result in final scores being higher or lower Final data will be released publicly by CDE in August

Managing Rosters Create customized groupings of students within a school: Example: School-site Coordinators and or Principals that have a Site Coordinator level TOMS account can create a report that lists all of the students within a specific grade or in a particular classroom. Used in combination with user TOMS roles (e.g., TA, TE, TA/TE) teachers can access with test results for their students once Site Coordinators have created the Teacher Score Rosters The following slides will walk you through the steps to access a Teacher Score Roster that was created by the Site Coordinator

Accessing Smarter Balanced Teacher Score Rosters cont. Step 6 Once your Roster has finished downloading, the word “Download” will appear in the “My Inbox”. At that point: Click on: “Download” 6
Accessing Smarter Balanced Teacher Score Rosters cont. Step 7 Once your Roster has finished downloading, you will receive a prompt to either save or open the file. At that point Click on: “Open” 7

Step 8 At this point you will have an excel spreadsheet that will contain the preliminary score results for the students that were associated with the roster that the Site Coordinator created. If you scroll to the right on the spreadsheet, you will find all of the pertinent data related to the student’s demographic information and further to the right, you will find the fields that provide the scores for both the ELA and Math at the Overall Scale Score and the Individual Claim Achievement Category.
