Kilian- Oct. 25 Joshua- Oct. 28 October 15-26 Kindergarten News This week our reading theme is “My Five Senses”. We will talk about how we use our senses to learn. Vocabulary Words: explore, senses, feast, finished, kneads Reading: *Identifying beginning and middle sounds in words *Letters Uu, Vv, Ww, Xx, Yy and Zz *Asking and answering questions about a story *Matching letters to sounds Sight Words review: The, we, can, a, I , see New Word: red Math: *Decomposing numbers 6-10 *Seeing 6,7,8,9 and 10 as numbers made up of 5 and some more *Repeating patterns *Using money to represent a number Reminders: Picture Retakes – Tuesday, October 16 NO SCHOOL – October 18-19 (MEA) Due to the short MEA week, we will not send out a newsletter next week.
