Mission Statement Section II, “Purpose” 1. The Florida Utilities Coordinating Committee was formed to: improve the efficiency of operation, maintenance, and construction of utility and roadway infrastructure through communication, discussion of issues, educational opportunities, and facilitating cooperative relationships. Purpose & Intent Section II, “Purpose” 2. The purpose of the FUCC shall be to promote: Effective and equitable coexistence of utilities Create a successful working relationship among and between utilities, and other entities, through coordination, cooperation and communication. 2. It is the intent of the FUCC to achieve this through: Frank and impartial consideration of all matters to participate, in the preparation of practices, policies, procedures and rules originating with governmental organizations that may affect utility work. Utility Interest Groups The purpose of the Interest Groups is to provide a forum for like utilities to: discuss issues, problems and concerns. develop solutions or present other recommendations to the Steering Subcommittee. Responsible for discussing, resolving and making recommendations to the Steering Subcommittee Developing their component of an annual educational seminar. Participate in the Steering Subcommittee meeting.
