Who sets the rules? Who calls the shots? Whose voice is listened to? Imbalance of Power Who sets the rules? Who calls the shots? Whose voice is listened to?

Who has more power in this situation….. Imbalance of Power Who has more power in this situation….. a parent or their child? in the classroom, a teacher or a 2nd/3rd grader? on the soccer field, the kid who has been playing for 3 years or the kid who just joined the team? an older sibling or a younger sibling?

Physical Abuse When someone intentionally crosses your boundaries in order to hurt you; Leaves marks or bruises on your body that are visible or still hurt the next day; The person hurting you has more power; Physical abuse is against the law.

Is what happened to Twist the same as what happened to Liona?

Are Secrets About Abuse Safe?

Is It Abuse? Not Abuse Abuse Was the hurting intentional? Was there an imbalance of power? Were marks, bruises, or pain still there the next day?

Thank you for Standing Strong to Stay Safe!
