Rupani Foundation For over a decade Rupani Foundation has been instrumental in transforming lives across Pakistan Rupani Foundation’s aim is to end poverty, promote self reliance and resilience of vulnerable communities Need based cost-effective programs catering to community needs. Values central to all the endeavors of RF are inclusiveness, cohesiveness, integrity and commitment. Sectors of interventions are skill development, capacity building and early childhood development

Rupani Foundation ECD Programs AW-IP Conception-3 Years Supports newly-wed couples, families, parents, communities, care-givers and children in the crucial early years of life. UMEED 3- 8 Years Montessori-based program with integrated High-Scope elements to cater educational needs of children and families. FICD Family Involvement in Child development is complementary program for children between 3-8 years to augment learning at schools Mobile ECD Initiative to ensure the provision of cost-effective Early Childhood Development at the door step.

Way Forward Gilgit-Baltistan should take a lead to formulate an integrated and multi-sectorial conception to 8 years ECD policy extending beyond classroom settings Promote contextual researches on Early Childhood Development for policy frameworks and guidance A strong coordination mechanism between community, public and private sector is needed Community-led models could be a cost-effective solution to ensure access to Early Childhood Development in the remote regions whereas, social entrepreneurship can be practiced in urban & semi-urban contexts Rupani Foundation can share its' practical knowledge and experiences specifically on conception-3 years ECD interventions
