EQUALITY OBJECTIVES APRIL 2016

As a Public Body, the Equality Act 2010, requires Merseyside Police to publish one or more equality objectives, at least every 4 years. We need to demonstrate our commitment to Equality and Diversity by having due regard to the need to: • Eliminating unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation • Advancing equality of opportunity between different groups • Fostering good relations between different groups

OUR VISION 2016 – 2020 Community First ‘FIGHTING CRIME – PROTECTING COMMUNITIES’ The Force Equality Objectives have been created against the Community First Strategy and linked to the College of Policing Equality Improvement Model (EIM)
