Filing Requirements: Monthly report is required for any month during which a reportable tarmac delay has occurred; Report is due on or before the 15 th day of each month following the month during which any reportable tarmac delay occurred; No negative report is required.

The reporting duty under 14 CFR Part 244 is separate and distinct from: The record retention requirement under 14 CFR 259.4(e), which requires covered carriers to retain certain information on tarmac delays of three hours or more for two years.

To register with DOT, log into the eSubmit web application: If the Air Carriers representative is already a registered eSubmit user, then they will need to log into the eSubmit web application to select and add the new Part 244 Tarmac Delay Data to their list of reports they submit.
