T123 APRON MANAGEMENT SERVICE Madrid-Barajas Airport Date of entry into service: 31 st of May, 2012 USERS COMMITMENTS All aircraft will follow instructions issued by BARAJAS APRON.. All aircraft will follow taxi routes and any additional information regarding apron traffic provided by BARAJAS APRON. All instructions will be read back. Standard taxi routes are provided in the AIP. ATC-BARAJAS APRON COORDINATION PROCEDURES Coordination procedure related to departing and arriving aircraft is detailed in AIP- ESPAÑA, LE_AD_2_LEMD_en, as follows: Once engine start-up clearance or time has been given, BARAJAS-CLEARANCE will issue the corresponding ATC clearance for the aircraft. Aircraft must be ready for push-back or taxi within the next 5 minutes to the approved start-up time; pilots will contact ATC otherwise. When the aircraft requests push-back or taxi instructions, BARAJAS-CLEARANCE will issue instructions to contact Barajas Apron on the appropriate frequency. Barajas Apron will be responsible to issue the instructions and the approval of push-back and/or taxiing. Exiting aircraft parked in stands 6 to 9 of T123 apron will be managed directly by ATC; once BARAJAS-CLEARANCES authorizes engine start-up, pilots will be instructed to contact the appropriate ATC frequency for requesting taxi clearance and instructions. Aircraft heading for stands 1 to 5 of T-123 apron will be managed directly by ATC, who will instruct to proceed to stand directly from M 11. T123 APRON MANAGEMENT SERVICE Madrid-Barajas Airport Date of entry into service: 31st of May, 2012 New taxi routes for aircraft exiting or heading for stands T30 to T40 or heading for stands 6 to 9. - In North configuration aircraft exiting by L7 and heading for stands T30 to T40 will proceed directly by G5 to Gate 5. - Aircraft heading for stands T30 to T40 or 6 to 9 will proceed by Gate 5. - Exiting aircraft parked in stands T30 to T40 will proceed by Gate 6. New intermediate holding position for entries by Gate 5. Aircraft now have the possibility of holding in Gate 5 without interfering with M, so in case a transfer is delayed, traffic isn´t interrupted in that taxiway. In case Gate 5 is occupied, the next entry to T123 will always be by A10-2 in North configuration and by M10-2 in South configuration. New intermediate holding position
