JFD Program Goals One-day job shadowing opportunity for junior and senior high school students. Introducing students to the workplace so they are prepared to make meaningful contributions to the world. Introducing businesses to future workforce, including talent pool and labor resources. Potential internship, apprenticeships, volunteer or future employment opportunities Exposure to jobs of interest related to a student’s skills and interests.

Key 2018 Dates JFD Primary Date – Monday, November 5, 2018 This is an LCPS Teacher Workday (Student Holiday) Alternate date for LCPS & INOVA placements: Nov. 14th Date Event October 12, 2018 Students can view available jobs October 15, 2018 Students can sign up for jobs (@5pm) October 24, 2018 Job assignments confirmed and placement letters mailed October 30, 2018 *INOVA Orientation date November 1, 2018 Deadline for Student/Parent Agreement
