What is cultural Diffusion? Cultural diffusion is when one Culture Trait (part of a culture) moves from one place to another place.
What are some examples of Cultural Diffusion? People all over the world eat McDonald’s. People all over the world wear Blue Jeans Both of these examples started in the USA and moved to other places. What other examples can you think of?
Classwork You’re going to get three examples of cultural diffusion – your paper is labeled with either a 1 or 2. You need to read through your examples and answer the accompanying questions. Once you’re finished, meet with a partner who has the other number and share your examples with each other. Write your partner’s examples in the blank boxes (paraphrase). Answer the questions about your partners examples. Discuss your answers.
