What is Generation Tech? Students, ages 14-18, will have the opportunity to work in teams to create a technical solution for a social good challenge. JPMorgan Chase employees will mentor and guide the students as they design their vision for their solution Parents and educators will also have the opportunity to attend a session on how to guide their children along the Computer Science (CS) and Technology education path. Technology for Social Good at JPMorgan Chase is excited to provide a creative and socially responsible challenge while inspiring them to choose an education in CS and Technology. Event Details Location: JPMorgan Chase, 575 Washington Blvd, 3rd Floor Date: November 16, 2018 Time: 3:30pm – 8:30pm Questions? Email youth.programs@chase.com

Email youth.programs@chase.com Qualifications How to Sign Up Schedule 9th to 12th grade students only Technical skills are not required Students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the event Parent/Guardian permission is required We ask students to bring a personal laptop, but it is not a requirement for participation Registration will be handled on a first come, first served basis JPMC Contact will coordinate with local high schools Local high schools will need to (1) distribute application link, (2) obtain a signed waiver from the student’s parent, and (3) send the waiver and student information back to the JPMC Contact* Note: space for the event is limited and expressing interest in the event does not guarantee a spot Introductory remarks and presentation of Social Good Challenges Students work in teams to design technical solutions Students use a wire framing tool that allows them to design their vision for an application/solution Parents attend a session on how to guide their kids along a CS/Technology path Students present their designs to a panel of judges and external partners Winning team receives a prize!
