Planning a Fundraising Activity Assess financial needs. Determine the purpose. Set a goal. Assess volunteer resources needed. Apply lessons learned from past fundraisers.

Setting a Fundraising Goal What project will benefit from this fundraising activity? How much money is currently available for the project? How much additional money does the project require? How will the money benefit the project? Are there external sources that could support the project?

Coordinating Volunteers Form working committees with defined duties. Encourage regular meetings of those responsible for the fundraising activity. Ensure that volunteers have clearly defined tasks and follow up with them. Solicit feedback from volunteers.
