You are required to key in your NRIC / FIN and the JAE PIN to access the JAE-IS. Your JAE PIN can be found in Form A, which will be issued to you together with your results slip. The JPSAE application period coincides with that of the JAE. You may participate in both the JAE and JPSAE, then accept only one offer if you are offered courses under both JAE and JPSAE.

Criteria For Repeat Sec 4E and Sec 5N students are allowed to repeat the GCE O-Level Examination only if they satisfy all the criteria below:- ai) Obtained no more than 2 GCE O-Level passes and an aggregate of 44 points or less in 5 subjects (excluding CCA). OR aii) Obtained 3 or more GCE O-Level passes (excluding CCA) but do not qualify for admission to Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute or Polytechnics; b) Will not be more than 4 years overage, for Singapore Citizens/ Permanent Residents; Will not be more than 2 years overage, for International Students.

Criteria For Repeat Sec 4E and Sec 5N students are allowed to repeat the GCE O-Level Examination only if they satisfy all the criteria below:- c) Had been enrolled in a Government or Government-aided school in 2018; and d) Had attempted the GCE O-Level Examination for the first time in 2018.

Application to Repeat Closing date: Fri,18 Jan 2019, 3.00 pm Obtain application form from the General Office. Complete and submit the application form in person. Make an appointment to meet one of the School Leaders with your parents. Please note that eligibility does not guarantee placement.

Outstanding Fees Pay outstanding school fees at the General Office. Present receipt(s) to collect result slip from form teachers.

Certificate Amendment Request Students who want to request for a re-print of their certificates due to misspelling of their names. Complete the application form (from Ms Tina). Closing date: Fri, 18 Jan 2019, 3.00 p.m.

PFP / DPP

Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) For 2018 Sec 4 Normal (Academic) students with ELMAB3 ≤ 11 points and met subject-specific requirements Registration period 2.00 pm on Mon, 14 Jan 2019 to 4.00 pm on Fri, 18 Jan 2019 Online application (with password in Form P) @ PFP website https://pfp.polytechnic.edu.sg/PFP/pfp_application.html. Eligible students will receive a copy of Form P. Applications for the PFP will be at the same time as the JAE.

There are 4 main types of publicly-funded Post Secondary Education Options available for students http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions Talking points: Help our students understand that no matter what situation they are currently in, there are many options available for them. As educators, our role is to help our students realize that there are multiple bridges and ladders at any given point of their life which can help them move closer towards achieving their goals. Hence, before going into the specific details of what the various PSEI tracks entail, let’s take a few minutes to recall some of the options available to our pupils. Do remember that each option caters to the aptitudes and needs of different types of learners. Remind your student to consider which environment will help them optimize their potential Note: The use of ‘our students’ can be replaced with ‘your child’ when addressing parents.

Students graduate with a diploma or degree. For Students Planning to Enter the Arts Institutions The Arts Institutions Courses are hands-on with a focus in visual and performing arts (e.g. Design, Animation, Fine Arts, Media, Dance, Music). Students interested in applying to the Arts Institutions will also need to pass an entrance test or audition, which may include performing a musical piece or submitting a portfolio.

EAE Early Admissions Exercise Students who have accepted their conditional offers and met the admissions criteria for the polytechnic course after the release of their final results will have their offers confirmed. JAE Joint Admissions Exercise Conducted annually to allow GCE O-Level students to apply for admission to courses offered by JC, MI, Poly and ITE ELR2B2 is used for admissions into the polytechnics. English Language + 2 RELEVANT subjects for the course applied for + 2 other best subjects Please remind parents and students, especially the former, that the JAE/JIE booklet provided to all students each for that year will have the most up-to-date information. EAE students would have received their conditional offers. To apply for a course in a Polytechnic, the points which a student obtains for his/her ELRB2 is normally calculated. Students must also satisfy the minimum entry requirements for the course they wish to pursue.
