Our Starting Point Founding the 13 Colonies This should be a review, but if you want to take some notes you totally can.

What is a Colony? a country or area under the full or partial political control of another country, typically a distant one, and occupied by settlers from that country.

Why would England want to set up colonies in the new world?

How were the colonies alike and different?

What were the three regions in the original 13 colonies?
