Divisive Politics of Slavery Due Tuesday Sept. 26th by 8 AM Divisive Politics of Slavery Chapter 4 section 1 Project (Part I and II)

Directions You will create a Project on Google Slides. Each slide will contain a historical event ( I will give you a list of the events). On each slide you will be required to; Briefly describe the event State the significance of the event. For example, how did this event lead to or contribute to the Civil War? How did this event add to the tension between the North and South? Add illustrations which describe the event. Illustrations can include pictures, charts, graphs,political cartoons, etc. You can get them from the internet (Google Images) or create them on your own. Check for accuracy! This is not a research assignment. Use the internet for illustrations or to fact check only.

Grading Rubric Part I 50 points in Project Category 45- 50 meets all the requirements of the assignment. Descriptions are accurate and the images are appropriate.Additional images, animation, background is added to gain interest of the subject. 35-44 some requirements not met. A few descriptions are incomplete or inaccurate. Little to no additional images, background, etc. is added. Below 35 Half or more of the requirements not met. Turned in late.
