Gender & Equity Issues in Context Issues and Challenges Prioritization

Group 1 Key take-aways Wide consultation and passing of legislation of M&E gender and equity based policy to institutionalise M&E Creating awareness and advocacy – users government, parliamentarians Build individual capacity building from national and local levels Create culture for use of evaluation evidence , relationship between democracy and use of evidence Importance of knowledge management – to ensure continutity with change of government (knowledge continuity and effective knowledge transfer) and Dissemination of knowledge Including community in evaluation process (bottom-up approach in SDG evaluation) Consider evaluation action plan and management response (related to use and follow-up)
