Which is the better hypothesis I will be able to break more toothpicks with my warm hand than I can when my hand is cold. If I break toothpicks for one minute with my warm hand and then with my cold hand, then I will break more toothpicks with my warm hand. If low temperatures suppress muscle contractions, and I break toothpicks for one minute with warm hand and then for one minute with my hand after soaking it in ice water for five minutes, then I will break more toothpicks with warm hand.

Coyote: A Keystone Species Keystone species has a great effect on its environment compared to its abundance. Key in maintaining balance and structure in an ecological community-- affecting many other organisms in the community.
