Ms. Hovious’ 1st Grade Week of: February 25th, 2019 Dr. Seuss celebration March 8th 2:00 Spring Break - March 25th- 29th Dress up days this week: Monday-Pajama Penny Day, Tuesday-Neon Nickles Day, Wednesday-Dazzling Dimes Day, Thursday-Crazy Quarters Day, Friday-Team Up for Leukemia This week we will continue working on number sense. Identifying ten more and less, working with patterns in a 120 chart, ordering numbers on a number line. This week in reading we will read The Dot and work on long e: ea and inflected endings. We will work on story theme for our comprehension skill. This week we will continue our dental health unit. We will write about how to take care of our teeth and do some fun science experiments and centers. We are continuing to work on our informative books. We will practice using illustrations with labels and captions to add to our writing. Spelling Words the, am, little, to, is Sight Words colors, draw, drew, great, over, show, sign
