Dr. Wilkie - Comp I FINAL EXAM Next week, the only class activity will be a final exam. It should not be too difficult if you have paid attention in class and reviewed your notes. Most students are usually done with it in less than an hour (although you have the whole class period, if you think you should need it.) 2017

FINAL EXAM Sentence Structure – There will be sentences on the exam that I will expect you to rewrite. You will be expected to eliminate comma splices, fragments and run-ons.

FINAL EXAM Sentence Structure – For example: “We are going to see the show, Gwen is playing the part of the transsexual prison guard.”

FINAL EXAM Sentence Structure – For example: “We are going to see the show. Gwen is playing the part of the transsexual prison guard.”

FINAL EXAM Punctuation – There will be sentences on the test that you will have to punctuate correctly.

FINAL EXAM Vocabulary – The exam will contain about 25 words from the vocabulary words I have given you. They will be multiple choice questions.

FINAL EXAM THE ESSAY – You will be expected to write in class a five-paragraph essay with introduction, thesis, body paragraphs and conclusion. I will let you do it in any format as long as you identify the format.

FINAL EXAM The ESSAY – For example, you might want to write a narration about a funny experience at your family reunion. Or you might want to compare and contrast two action movies that you saw recently. It’s up to you, but you will be expected to write it in class.
