Full Circle Urban Forest Network The Full Circle Urban Forestry Network is comprised of urban wood utilization groups representing Illinois, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. Rich Christianson worked with the Network in coordinating the first-ever urban wood seminar at the 2016 International Woodworking Fair in Atlanta. Rich moderated the program and developed press releases and assembled a national Urban Wood User’s Resource Guide.

Illinois Wood Utilization Team The Illinois Wood Utilization Team was established in 2009 to help promote the best possible use for community trees at the end of their life. Richson Media was contracted to manage the successful urban wood utilization conference held March 18 at Hamburger University in Oak Brook, IL, develop an integrated promotional plan and to regularly post conference updates and fresh news content about the urban wood movement at illinoisurbanwood.org.

Surface & Panel Magazine Surface & Panel is published by Bedford Falls Communications. S&P is the only publication exclusively focused on the design, manufacture and marketing of panel-based furniture and casegoods. Rich Christianson is a regular S&P contributor and has authored features spanning design, technology and markets for decorative surfaces and wood composite panels, such as Stevens Industries’ role in healthcare projects.

Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America The WMMA is a trade association composed of more than 150 manufacturers of woodworking equipment, cutting tools and supplies. WMMA contracted Rich Christianson to serve as Public Policy Liaison to monitor key legislation and regulatory activities that impact the North American woodworking industry. Responsibilities also include writing and compiling the WMMA’s monthly Washington Report newsletter.
