WSC 2.0 TF Agenda Joint Statement and the GAMS recommendations documentation process and trial at WSC Fukuoka Discussion at the JSTC to continue or discontinue activities of certain Task Forces/WGs Chair rotation of TF/WGs Feb. 2011, Shanghai China 3

September 2010 JSTC Minutes With respect to streamlining presentations, it was agreed that associations would examine the idea of combining the Joint Statement and the GAMS Recommendations into one document for the GAMS and report back to the next TF meeting in Shanghai. Each association would also continue consulting with their GAMS representatives on additional means of streamlining and clarifying the GAMS Recommendations.   With respect to managing the number of TFs and WGs, the Task Force will endeavor to make a proposal to be discussed at the JSTC as to the possibility of determining the continuation of Task Forces and Working Groups at February JSTC meetings.” Feb. 2011, Shanghai China 4

One documentation process Task Force confirmed that the formal output of the WSC are two documents: Joint Statement  - which is a public document Recommendations to GAMS – which it not a public document. It was agreed that the recommendations should ideally be a one page document, highlighting the specific recommendations and requests by WSC to GAMS. It was suggested that the recommendations document might be used as a cover to the Joint Statement for delivery to the GAMS, and that further annexes might be added as appropriate. Feb. 2011, Shanghai China 5

Trial for One Document Approach The Task Force agreed proposing the JSTC to employ this approach as a trial for the 2011 WSC and GAMS meetings.   Feb. 2011, Shanghai China 6

Review of Activities of TFs/WGs From 2012 In every February, each Forces/WGs/Issue Groups should review its activities and achievements and decide to continue or discontinue its activities. To continue, Forces/WGs/Issue Groups should prepare its goals with timelines. At a February JSTC, each Forces/WGs/Issue Groups should present its conclusion(s) and recommendation(s) on the above. JSTC should discuss and approve the conclusion(s) and recommendation(s), if appropriate. Feb. 2011, Shanghai China 7
